Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year. or equivalent experience. Asset languages: Swahili. Work setting: Community agency. School help service. Social service or charity agency. Associations and non profit organizations. Public school.

Tasks: Food preparation. Maintain program statistics for purposes of evaluation and research. Accompany clients to appointments and social outings. Teach students using lessons, discussions, audio-visual presentations and field trips. Co-ordinate recreation activities. Co-ordinate teaching activities. Help children with homework. Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods. Discuss results and students’ progress with them, their parents and school officials.

Area of work experience: Community service organization.

Security and safety: Criminal record check.

Transportation/travel information: Own vehicle. Valid driver's licence. Travel expenses paid by employer.

Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently. Rapid-paced environment. Attention to detail.
