Operations Analyst -- Banking

Work Model: Hybrid – 4 days per week in office, Monday–Thursday

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM

About the Role

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Operations Analyst to join a collaborative financial services team supporting day-to-day operational activities.

This role is well suited for someone with 1–2 years of banking or financial operations experience, solid communication skills, and excellent attention to detail. The position involves a high volume of outbound calls, follow-up activities, and accurate data entry within internal systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Make outbound calls to financial institutions regarding client transfers.
- Conduct timely and accurate follow-up on transfers from other financial institutions.
- Update internal systems and maintain accurate records.
- Perform data entry and case management activities.
- Work with imaging, ticketing, and internal case management systems.
- Track daily activities and meet established productivity and accuracy targets.
- Communicate professionally with external financial institutions and stakeholders.
- Participate in daily team huddles and collaborate with team members to resolve issues.
- Handle customer information in accordance with established privacy and security requirements.

Qualifications

- University degree or equivalent education and experience.




- 1–2 years of experience in banking, financial services, or financial operations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Previous experience making professional outbound phone calls is strongly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-volume environment.
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to quickly learn recent systems and processes.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets, including those containing macros.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.

Nice-to-Have

- Call centre or high-volume phone experience.
- Wealth management or investment industry experience.
- Experience with ticketing, case management, imaging, or workflow systems.
- Previous experience with financial services operations.
- Bilingual English/French.
- Previous experience working with Excel macros.
