This permanent part-time position focuses on assisting individuals with developmental disabilities in a community residential setting. You will utilize your skills to enhance residents' quality of life through daily activities and interaction. This role demands both independence and teamwork, along with solid problem-solving abilities in challenging situations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist residents with daily living activities
• Support physical and emotional wellness of individuals
• Facilitate social and recreational opportunities
• Apply positive behavior support techniques
• Communicate effectively with residents and staff
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in relevant field
• 1-2 years’ experience with developmental disabilities
• Valid First Aid/CPR certification
• Class 5 Driver's License
• Training in positive behavior support
