Comfortable using email, Word and Excel Responsibilities: Maintains a safe and clean environment using safe food handling practices, universal precautions and WHMIS Ensures workplaces are organized and appropriately set up for work Demonstrates positive judgement and respect when using and storing facility equipment Reports maintenance needs of equipment Observes fire and safety regulations Adheres to safe work practices Practices proper body mechanics Acts as a resource for other staff and assists in orientation of new employees Maintains par levels as required Accurately completes food temperature,



food waste and quality audits taking appropriate action as needed Assembles resident meals according to set portions and appropriate diets Accurately lables all foods accoording to safe food handling guidelines Uses first-in, first-out (FIFO) method for stocking and selecting food Other related duties as assigned by supervisor Perform cleaning functions in assigned areas. Collect and transport garbage, recycling with the ability to push/pull large carts. Performs periodic floor and carpet maintenance in accordance with established procedures and prescribed techniques. Maintains cleanliness, orderliness and general repair of equipment and work area. Completes project/special cleaning, in areas as assigned by the supervisor. Follows safe work practices. Complete specific set-ups for special functions. Completes office moves - transporting of desks, cabinets and other furniture from one area to another as requested by supervisors.
