Located in Halifax, NS, IMP Aerospace & Defence requires an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to support Canadian Search and Rescue missions. Ideal candidates will have substantial knowledge in aircraft systems and a minimum of three years in aviation maintenance. Responsibilities include servicing mechanical, structural, and electrical systems, alongside performing ground runs and pre/post flight inspections.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct first and second level maintenance on aircraft systems




• Perform pre/post flight inspections and ground support operations
• Fly in support of maintenance and deployment activities
• Provide on-the-job training to junior staff
• Ensure a clean and secure workspace
Requirements:
• Graduate of an aircraft maintenance program
• Minimum of 3 years’ aviation maintenance experience
• Knowledge of aircraft systems and tools
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License
• Eligible for Canadian Controlled Goods Program
