Drive safety and risk leadership at Newmont’s Red Chris Block Cave Project. As the Project HSE Lead, you’ll oversee health and safety across high-risk construction activities.

In this senior role, you will ensure the effective implementation of HSE standards and regulatory compliance across multiple work fronts. Collaborating with various stakeholders, you will manage contractor performance and advocate for safety and operational excellence. Your leadership will directly influence the project's successful execution while nurturing HSE capability within the team.

Key Responsibilities:



• Lead senior health and safety initiatives for the project • Manage critical risk activities and contractor governance • Oversee HSE compliance and project operations • Conduct incident investigations and drive organizational learning • Provide visible leadership and engage in on-site safety practices

Requirements: • Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field • Qualified HSE certification (CMIOSH, CRSP, etc.) • Significant experience in mining or major capital projects • Proven project lifecycle management in construction • Expertise in contractor assurance and risk management
