Shape Canada’s energy future as an Intermediate Transmission Line Engineer with WSP. Focus on cutting-edge substation projects while enhancing grid reliability and supporting renewable energy integration.
In this role, located preferably in Edmonton, you will join WSP's Transmission & Distribution Electrical team. Your expertise will contribute to the design of transmission lines ranging from 34.5kV to 500kV. Successful candidates will have a strong track record and experience in managing multiple projects while ensuring client satisfaction and technical compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead design projects for high voltage transmission lines
• Prepare and review engineering deliverables and specifications
• Conduct quality reviews of internal and subcontractor work




• Manage project timelines, budgets, and reporting
• Coordinate with contractors to maintain client relations
Requirements:
• BS degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Engineering Physics
• 5-10 years experience in transmission line design
• Proficiency with PLS-CADD and related software
• Professional Engineering License (P.Eng.) required
• Experience in project engineering and management
