Join EVR’s Environmental Performance Co-op starting January 2027 for an enriching experience in Elk Valley, British Columbia. Focus on environmental data management, sustainability programs, and hands-on inspections in a dynamic work workplace.
This co-op position, lasting 8 or 12 months, is tailored for undergraduate students in Environmental Science or Management. Responsibilities include adhering to health and safety policies and updating environmental data in our Management System. This role offers the potential for professional development while enjoying all that Elk Valley has to offer.
Key Responsibilities:
• Update and manage environmental reporting in the EMS
• Support development of internal self-assessments
• Conduct environmental site inspections
• Summarize compliance data into appropriate databases
• Evaluate technologies to enhance business practices
Requirements:
• Working towards an Undergraduate degree in relevant fields
• Preferred valid Class 5 Driver's License
• Self-starter able to manage multiple projects
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of Power BI
