About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and analytical Credit Analyst to join their risk assessment team in Kimberley. Key Responsibilities

- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and other financial data to assess the creditworthiness of individuals and businesses.
- Prepare detailed credit reports and risk assessments with clear recommendations on loan approvals or rejections.
- Monitor the performance of existing loan portfolios and identify potential risks.
- Ensure compliance with the bank's credit policies and regulatory requirements.




- Maintain effective communication with loan officers and other stakeholders regarding credit decisions.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in credit analysis, banking, or a related financial role.
- Strong understanding of financial statement analysis and credit scoring methodologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with internal teams.
