Job Description

Are you a self-motivated fun person who just “loves” dinosaurs and meeting people.

QYC Fun Factory (part of the Queen of Hearts group of companies) is a dinosaur themed children’s play centre on the East side of Owen Sound . We are expanding into phase two and looking for individuals with exceptional customer service and sunny personality for shift work.

This is a casual/part time position. Hours would include some weekend and early evenings as well as some week days depending on your availability.

Key Skills and Requirements wish list:

- Interpersonal Skills: Enthusiastic, welcoming personality with the ability to handle multiple situations at once
- Problem-Solving: Ability to resolve guest issues calmly and professionally.
- Technical Proficiency: Abiliity to learn the POS system and other systems within the centre.
- Knowledge: Knowledge or the ability and desire to learn some cool dino facts.

Experience and Qualifications:

- Customer Service: you need strong interpersonal communication, a welcoming demeanor,



and a customer service-oriented attitude – do you generate warmth and fun
- Physical Stamina: Ability to work on your feet for long periods. Willing to do what’s needed with a can-do attitude.
- Daily duties – Greeting, registering guests, hosting parties, engaging with guests throughout their stay, following all requirements as laid out by operations manuals, cleaning and basic cafe duties .
- Honesty and Integrity – Essential
- Team work : Exceptional teamwork, adaptability, and a positive, energetic personality help you stand out in this position. These skills are essential for creating memorable guest experiences.
- Age and Eligibility: Applicants must be at least 16 years of age.
