Elevate early learning experiences as a Registered Early Childhood Educator with the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board. This part time role focuses on play-based education for Junior and Senior Kindergarten students.
In this role with OCDSB, you will collaborate with a dynamic team to provide effective educational programming in the Extended Day Program. A commitment to fostering cognitive, emotional, and social development among young learners is essential. You will lead activities before and after school for students in designated elementary schools.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement engaging play-based educational programs
• Lead extended day activities for Kindergarten and school-age students




• Collaborate with EDP staff to ensure quality education
• Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and students
• Adapt programming to meet diverse student needs
Requirements:
• Two-year Early Childhood Education diploma or equivalent
• Registration with the Ontario College of Early Childhood Educators
• Minimum one year of childcare experience
• Valid First Aid/CPR certification
• Police Records Check for the Vulnerable Sector
