BCHP’s CRD-IRSU seeks a proactive constable dedicated to reducing traffic-related incidents through informed strategies. In this role, you will collaborate with local agencies to enforce traffic laws and tackle high-risk behaviors. Opportunities for qualified training and a secondment of up to 4 years are available for qualified candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and execute projects on traffic safety
• Detect and manage impaired driving cases
• Collaborate in criminal interdiction efforts
• Support data analysis for traffic enforcement
• Document and report findings accurately
Requirements:
• Comprehensive knowledge of the Criminal Code
• Proven awareness of local geography
• Effective communication abilities
• Previous traffic enforcement experience preferred
• Must maintain RCMP secret security clearance
