The Position: With our team & the guidance of our CPA mentors,
you'll gain the required practical work experience toward the achievement of your CPA designation and launch of your professional career. Within your first year, you will have the chance in a team environment to plan and complete small audits and contribute to sections of more complex, larger audits conducted across a range of industries and government sectors such as education, health, insurance, social services, finance, environment, and infrastructure. As you progress through the professional accounting program, you will gain diverse experience and take on increasingly complex work assignments. Candidate Qualifications
Hold a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), or of Commerce (BCom/BComm), or accounting-related degree from a recognized university, or currently be in final school year Qualitative analysis and research skills Quantitative analytical skills an asset Some knowledge of government function and the public service Effective written/verbal communications skills Able to work independently and in team Pursuit of CPA designation is an asset Successful candidates subject to a Criminal Record Check as a condition of employment.
