About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized and experienced Remote Fleet Dispatcher to manage national logistics operations from a home-based office. You will be responsible for monitoring vehicle movements, responding to operational challenges in real-time, and optimizing resource allocation to meet client demands nationwide. Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate and manage a national fleet of drivers and vehicles, optimizing routes and schedules.
- Monitor vehicle locations and progress using GPS tracking and communication systems.
- Respond promptly to operational disruptions, emergencies, and client inquiries.
- Assign tasks to drivers, ensuring efficient workload distribution and adherence to delivery deadlines.
- Maintain accurate dispatch records, update shipment statuses,



and communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
- Liaise with warehouse teams, clients, and other departments to ensure smooth logistical flow.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Fleet Dispatcher or in a similar logistics coordination role.
- Strong understanding of transportation logistics, routing software, and fleet management systems.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- Proficiency with computer systems, including GPS tracking and communication platforms.
- Familiarity with national logistics networks and challenges across South Africa.
