Recruiting and retaining talented people is fundamental to delivering exceptional care and support. The Recruitment Apprentice will provide administrative and operational support to the Resourcing function, ensuring a smooth and efficient recruitment and onboarding process.

Working closely with the Head of Resourcing, the apprentice will develop and understanding of candidate management, onboarding activities, compliance monitoring, reporting, and stakeholder communications while developing valuable recruitment and HR administration skills.

9:00am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday (30-minute lunch break)

We're looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Recruitment Apprentice to join our Resourcing team based in Windsor. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in recruitment, onboarding, compliance and HR administration while working alongside experienced recruitment professionals.

Your Responsibilities Will Include Recruitment Administration

Managing the recruitment inbox and responding to enquiries from candidates and hiring managers.

Answering recruitment‑related telephone calls.

Coordinating interviews and sending interview confirmations.

Chasing interview feedback from hiring managers.

Keeping candidates updated throughout their recruitment journey.

Providing administrative support to the Head of Resourcing.

Onboarding Support

Managing onboarding enquiries and supporting new starters through the pre‑employment process.

Maintaining candidate records and documentation in line with GDPR requirements.

Chasing references, Right to Work documentation and other compliance checks.

Supporting the team to ensure new employees are ready to start on time.

Reporting and Data Management

Maintaining recruitment trackers and databases.

Producing recruitment updates for operational teams.

Supporting the preparation of reports and management information.

Assisting with monitoring key recruitment metrics such as:

Vacancy status

Time‑to‑hire

Starter numbers

Recruitment activity

Compliance completion rates

Onboarding progress

Compliance Support

Helping ensure pre‑employment checks are completed.

Maintaining accurate and organised recruitment records.

Supporting recruitment audits and compliance activities.

Stakeholder Support

Building positive relationships with candidates, managers and colleagues.





Assisting with recruitment reports, presentations and documentation.

Providing professional and efficient customer service.

Strong organisational and administrative skills.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

High attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to prioritise tasks and manage workload effectively.

Valuable IT skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams.

A professional and customer‑focused approach.

A willingness to learn and develop.

Desirable

Previous administration experience through work, volunteering or education.

An interest in Recruitment, HR, Talent Acquisition or People Services.

Experience using databases, spreadsheets or recruitment systems.
