Make a significant impact as a Quality Assurance Engineer at Aecon, leading QA/QC initiatives for cutting-edge nuclear projects. Focus on documentation and supplier collaboration.
As a member of the Aecon team, you will report to the Quality Manager and be responsible for the QA/QC processes associated with the Small Modular Reactor construction project. Your role will involve preparing and analyzing documentation, participating in audits, and liaising with strategic suppliers. This hands-on position emphasizes adherence to nuclear standards and the continual improvement of quality processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and update all QA/QC documentation • Prepare and revise Construction Inspection and Test Plans • Conduct thorough quality assessments of supplier documentation • Support audits and quality reviews as required • Interface with suppliers to enhance quality assurance processes
Requirements: • Technology program graduate with an emphasis on Mechanical Engineering • At least five years of relevant QA/QC experience in the Nuclear field • Solid understanding of inspection techniques and codes • Proficient in using MS Office for documentation management • Familiarity with nuclear standards is essential
