In this role you will be responsible for coordinating with the planner the flow of work throughout the Machine Shop, along with materials and resources. If you have strong organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment, we are looking for you!As this role is subject to the Canadian Government's Controlled Goods Program (CGP) the qualifying applicants must possess Canadian Citizenship or permanent residency status. A work permit status is not eligible for this role.Pay Rate: $24.00/hour (based on experience)Location:Ajax, ONShift:Monday- Thursday 730AM-4PM Fridays 730-1230Job type:Temporary | Full time | 24-month contractVacancy Status:This posting is for an existing vacancy.Here’s why you should apply:4% vacation paid weeklyPaid weekly accurate and on timeStrong health and safety programsMedical and dental benefits once qualifiedFree training programsNew and quicker onboarding processResponsibilities:Responsible for coordinating with the planner the flow of work throughout the Machine Shop.Ensure the availability of parts to meet flow requirements as well as customer expectations bull Assist with Work Order Management in SAP.Coordinate unplanned activities including raising rework travelers performing work order splits in SAP liaising with Manufacturing Engineers and supporting other functions in the company to maintain site OTD requirements.Update/improve administrative and reporting tools in order to reduce non-value-added work.Create maintain and publish daily/weekly status reports as required. bull Support dominant work centres with data administration for inspection plans.Participate in Continuous Improvement projectsQualifications:Degree in Engineering/Business/Operations or related fieldProficient computer skills experience in administrative functionsExcellent problem solving and organizational skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skills.Microsoft Office software - advanced Excel Skills basic understanding of Engineering drawings previous experience with MRP II / SAP software an assetPrevious experience in production planningMust be legally eligible to work, and reside in CanadaAt Adecco our purpose is simple: to make the future work for everyone.
