- Operate and monitor propulsion and auxiliary systems
- Conduct engineering watches in compliance
- Troubleshoot and address machinery performance issues
- Document operational and maintenance logs
- Provide guidance to junior engineering staffRequirements:
- Hold a Transport Canada Second Class Motor Certificate
- Valid Marine Medical and Emergency Duties certifications
- Ability to obtain Passenger Safety Management certification
- Valid WHMIS certification essential
