Join Sienna Senior Living as a Dietary Aide, working part time from 2:00pm to 6:00pm. This role is central to providing exceptional food service and fostering connections with residents.
In your role as Dietary Aide, you will ensure the safety and quality of food service while adhering to hygiene standards. You will assist in meal preparation, serve meals according to residents' diets, and keep the dining areas tidy and welcoming. With effective communication, you will take menu orders and ensure resident preferences are respected.
Key Responsibilities:
• Adhere to safe food handling practices
• Assist in meal preparation and serving
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining spaces
• Document menu selections and preferences




• Conduct scheduled cleaning tasks in food areas
Requirements:
• Must possess a Secure Food Handler’s Certificate
• Knowledge of institutional food service procedures
• Strong verbal and written communication in English
• Successful completion of Vulnerable Sector Check in Ontario
• Successful completion of Criminal Records Check in British Columbia
