WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?As Director Compensation, you will support the Senior Director in leading the strategic design and implementation of compensation programs for the Capital Markets business. You will work closely with senior leadership to provide expert advice on all aspects of compensation programs, policies, initiatives and solutions, and manage key compensation initiatives and analytics while building and developing the compensation team.Job DescriptionAs Director Compensation, you will support the Senior Director in leading the strategic design and implementation of compensation programs for the Capital Markets business. You will work closely with senior leadership to provide expert advice on all aspects of compensation programs, policies, initiatives and solutions, and manage key compensation initiatives and analytics while building and developing the compensation team.WHAT WILL YOU DO?Support the Senior Director in developing and implementing compensation strategies and frameworks that support business goals and objectivesLead the design of base salary and variable incentive programs that drive revenue generation, ensuring programs are motivational, financially viable, and aligned with intended behaviors and regulatory guidanceSupport the development and preparation of RBC Human Resources Committee and Board-related compensation updates and program design documentsWork with business leaders and HR teams to drive compensation solutions for major business change initiativesLead and manage a full suite of detailed year-end variable compensation analytics, considering multiple data points including employee performance, business performance, and market data to arrive at well-informed compensation recommendationsProactively stay abreast of developments in the external market, becoming an expert on relevant competitor compensation practices, key business strategies,
