Experiential Learning team ! Working across our Simulation Laboratories, Simulation Suites, Home Health Labs and Therapeutic Communication Suites, you’ll play a key role in creating exceptional hands-on learning experiences for students and faculty. If you have experience with

healthcare equipment, simulation technologies, high-fidelity patient simulators, and task trainers , this is an opportunity to put your skills to work in a dynamic learning environment. What It Takes

Bachelor’s degree in a health, technology, communications or other related field at an accredited, post-secondary institution;

Minimum three years of related work experience in a health-care related environment in a clinical healthcare setting and/or simulation laboratory setting in an education institution;

Certified Healthcare Simulation Operations Specialist ( CHSOS ) or Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator ( CHSE ) certification preferred; or certification within the first 12 months of hire;

An equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered.

Knowledge and comprehension of clinical/medical terminology and lab processes is essential

Experience operating a variety of simulation equipment, including patient simulators, task trainers, medical/healthcare related equipment and technology is essential;

Additional Information

This OnCall (Varied hours per week) position is available starting September 14, 2026.

Hours of work will typically be scheduled Monday to Friday, between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm.

Shift days and times may change depending on operational needs.

Evening and occasional weekend work may be required.

The position is located at the Coquitlam campus; and will be required to work at all Douglas College campuses.
