About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Process Engineer to join their team in Kimberley . This role is essential for optimizing and troubleshooting the metallurgical processing plant, ensuring efficient extraction of valuable minerals. You will be responsible for analyzing plant performance data, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing process enhancements to maximize recovery and minimize operational costs. The successful candidate will work closely with operations, maintenance, and laboratory personnel, providing expert technical guidance and driving initiatives for continuous improvement within the mining sector. This position offers a significant opportunity to make a tangible impact on operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities

Monitor and analyze metallurgical plant performance, identifying trends and deviations. Develop and implement process optimization strategies to improve recovery, throughput, and product quality. Troubleshoot operational issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime. Conduct feasibility studies and economic assessments for process improvement projects.



Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure equipment reliability and operational readiness. Prepare technical reports, documentation, and recommendations for management. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering, preferably within the mining industry. Strong understanding of mineral processing unit operations (e.g., comminution, flotation, leaching). Proficiency in process simulation software and data analysis tools. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team in a demanding operational environment. Benefits
