Make a difference at Wapella School as an Educational Associate, focusing on students with diverse needs in a supportive learning setting. This temporary position begins September 2, 2026.
Commencing at the start of the school year and concluding on June 11, 2027, this role will have you working 3.2 hours each student day. You will support students with high behavioral needs while preparing their academic and life skills programming, ensuring they can interact successfully with peers and adults. Adaptability and teamwork are critical in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide support for students with diverse behavioral and educational needs
• Assist with student hygiene and medical requirements
• Facilitate academic and life skills programming




• Supervise small groups and intensive needs students
• Drive students as needed using your personal vehicle
Requirements:
• Grade 12 diploma from a recognized institution
• Required valid driver's license
• Ability to adapt and work collaboratively
• Familiarity with educational computer software
• Background in special education tools preferred
