About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and astute Construction Contracts Manager to join their legal and commercial team, supporting projects in Kimberley . This vital role involves overseeing the negotiation, drafting, and administration of all construction contracts, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and protecting the company's interests. You will work closely with project managers, legal counsel, and senior management to mitigate risks and ensure favorable contractual terms. This is an excellent opportunity for a legal or commercially minded professional to play a key role in the success of significant construction ventures. Key Responsibilities

Negotiate, draft, and manage a variety of construction contracts, including subcontracts, supply agreements, and consultancy agreements. Ensure all contracts are legally sound, compliant with relevant South African legislation , and align with company policies. Administer contracts throughout their lifecycle, managing amendments, claims, disputes, and variations. Provide expert advice on contractual matters to project teams and senior management.



Conduct contract risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies. Oversee the dispute resolution process, working closely with legal counsel when necessary. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Law, Construction Management, or a related field. Minimum of 6 years of experience in construction contract management or a related legal/commercial role. In-depth knowledge of contract law, FIDIC , NEC, or other standard forms of construction contracts. Experience in contract negotiation, drafting, and administration. Robust analytical, negotiation, and communication skills . Ability to manage complex contractual issues and resolve disputes effectively. Benefits
