Your expertise in bulk food preparation, especially in retirement or healthcare settings, will ensure our residents enjoy nourishing meals tailored to their dietary needs. Upholding hygiene and food safety protocols is crucial for the role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare meals for residents, employees, and guests
• Review menus and maintain food presentation standards
• Conduct daily audits for food storage temperatures
• Accommodate therapeutic diet requirements
• Engage in planning special meal events
Requirements:
• Food Handler’s Certificate is mandatory
• Red Seal Certificate preferred
• Proven experience in large portion food preparation
• Knowledge of healthy eating guidelines
• Capability to lift and handle heavy cooking items
