We believe, that for the right individual, this position represents significant growth opportunities.JOB DESCRIPTIONJob Description: Project EngineerSalary: Based on ExperienceEffective Start Date: TBCVacation: 3 weeksSchedule: Full-time (40hrs), Monday – Friday, 8:20am-4:20pm (Winter Ski Schedule)Full time Location of Employment: Function Junction, WhistlerDuties and responsibilitiesOverseeing the sales to engineering handoff, and ensuring projects are delivered as scheduledManaging the customer and supplier relationships,



ensuring a constant flow of effective communicationProcurement of products and services as requiredManaging and optimizing the procurement schedule with respect to our cashflow projectionsConduct continual cost analysis with a view to reducing our overheads.Work with finance and sales to ensure deposits and payments are completed as scheduledEnsuring manufacturing quality controls are implemented and followedReview and develop project objectives with respect to regulatory requirements, project budgets, and lead delivery timesDevelopment, implementation and review of project processes and procedures, with a focus on continuous improvementWorking with the engineering department to coordinate and complete required commissioningAssist the engineering department as requiredREQUIREMENTSMinimum of 5 years experience in project engineering rolePrevious procurement and/or supply chain management experienceUnderstanding of engineering project lifecycle and project management processesStrong time management and goal setting skillsPrevious project budget management and cost analysis experienceProven ability to build and develop effective customer and supplier relationshipsExcellent interpersonal, reporting, and written and verbal communication skillsProfessional, self-motivated, and detail orientatedStrong problem-solving skillsTravel to suppliers and customer sites, for commissioning, as requiredExperience working in a small sized engineering company preferredPrevious pharmaceutical or steel manufacturing experience considered an assetAPPLY HEREPlease apply with a resume, along with a brief message about why you’re fit for this role.#J-18808-Ljbffr
