As a Summer Job Search Assistant, you will work closely with Nova Scotia Works staff and support youth ages 13-16 in their career development through the Head Start program. Your role will involve assisting with job searches, application processes, and ensuring a nurturing setting for all clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support youth participants in completing job applications
• Assist with client sign-ins and resource center operations
• Respond to online inquiries and phone calls promptly
• Oversee and guide youth during the job search camps
• Help prepare materials for virtual Head Start training
Requirements:
• Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Checks mandatory (if over 18)
• First Aid and CPR training certification required
• Eligible candidates aged 15-30 only
• Strong community awareness and teamwork mindset
