Oxford Learning Burlington Appleby-Dundas seeks a Part-Time Math Teacher-Tutor to inspire students in advanced math. Work in-person and help students build confidence in math.
This position is perfect for motivated individuals who have a passion for teaching mathematics. As a teacher-tutor, you will engage with students directly, teaching them advanced functions, algebra, trigonometry, and calculus as per the Ontario curriculum. You will work flexible schedule in the afternoons and evenings, ensuring students receive the support they need to thrive academically.
Key Responsibilities:
• Instruct and guide up to three students at once
• Adhere to Oxford Learning’s methodologies in all lessons
• Provide daily communication and progress updates




• Fill in post-lesson notes to track student progress
• Create a positive and encouraging learning atmosphere
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or relevant teaching certification preferred
• Experience in tutoring or teaching grades 9-12 math
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong multitasking ability with multiple students
• Reliable and committed until at least June
