Lead the Treatment Plant Maintenance team at Halton Region and manage vital infrastructure projects focused on water and wastewater services. Supervise daily operations, ensure safety, and drive maintenance excellence for regional assets.
Reporting to the Superintendent, this permanent role oversees maintenance programs for approximately $2.7 billion in assets within the Water Treatment facilities. You'll provide direct supervision to staff, coordinate contractors, and implement preventative maintenance strategies. Your focus will be on delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget while promoting an effective safety culture within the team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure health and safety compliance across maintenance projects
• Supervise internal staff and oversee external contractors




• Develop and execute maintenance programs
• Collaborate with Operations and SCADA teams
• Monitor and document daily maintenance performance
Requirements:
• Licensed tradesperson or engineering degree required
• Experience in supervisory or technical roles in maintenance
• Knowledge of Reliability Centered Maintenance principles
• Strong background in water and wastewater systems
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
