Platform Engineer / Site Reliability Engineer We're looking for a curious, rigorous, problem-hungry platform engineer who codes to help Ashby grow into a reliable, scalable hiring platform. You will own projects end-to-end, build infrastructure, improve reliability, and ensure secure and efficient operations.Responsibilities Optimize our homegrown ultra-dynamic recruiting DSL-to-SQL compiler and create developer tools.Build automated guardrails for security and privacy of customer data.Help developers ship features quick through canary deploys, gradual rollouts, and feature flags while minimizing downtime.Define SLOs, implement corresponding SLIs, and ensure all communication with external services supports retries and circuit-breakers.Implement infrastructure to support an event-driven architecture and data warehouse.Debug complex issues, evaluate risk, and build a future-proof platform.Qualifications Experience building and scaling cloud-based infrastructure (AWS preferred).Strong coding skills in TypeScript/Node.Js and experience with backend systems.Hands-on experience with CI/CD, monitoring, and reliability tooling (Datadog, Sentry).Knowledge of SRE practices: SLOs/SLIs,
