Job: Experienced RoofersLocation: Vancouver, Abbotsford and Delta in British ColumbiaPay: $31.00 per hour to $34.00 per hourSchedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PMExperience: Experienced roofers onlyJob OverviewWe are hiring a Skilled Flat Roofer with solid SBS/Torch-On experience as well as Experienced Roofers for a full-time roofing position in British Columbia.The ideal candidate will have proven hands-on experience installing and repairing SBS modified bitumen roofing systems, including torch-applied membranes. This is a skilled position requiring someone who can work safely and efficiently with minimal supervision.Freshers and candidates without professional roofing experience will not be considered.ResponsibilitiesInstall, repair and maintain flat and low-slope roofing systemsInstall SBS modified bitumen roofing membranesPerform Torch-On roofing applications using propane roofing torchesInstall base sheets, cap sheets and related roofing materialsPrepare roof surfaces before membrane installationComplete flashing and waterproofing around drains, vents, edges and roof penetrationsMeasure, cut and fit roofing materials accuratelyPerform roofing repairs and assist with leak detectionHandle roofing materials,



tools and equipment safelyMaintain a clean and organized work areaFollow company and site-specific health and safety proceduresWork safely at heights and use required fall protection systemsRequirementsProven professional roofing experience is mandatoryStrong hands-on SBS/Torch-On roofing experience is mandatory for the Flat roofersExperience with flat or low-slope roofing systemsDemonstrated ability to safely operate a propane roofing torchKnowledge of SBS modified bitumen installation, flashing and waterproofingComfortable working at heights and in varying weather conditionsFall Protection training is requiredAbility to safely use required PPE and fall protection equipmentPhysically able to lift roofing materials and perform demanding manual workReliable attendance and strong work ethicSafety & PPEWorkers must comply with all applicable WorkSafeBC requirements and site-specific safety procedures. Required PPE may include CSA-approved Steel Toes, hard hat, high-visibility clothing, gloves, eye protection and fall protection equipment as applicable.Only experienced roofing candidates will be considered.
