In this position, your role will be vital in collaborating with Associate Merchants to implement supplier strategies that enhance the category business. You'll have opportunities to negotiate pricing and engage in vendor meetings while solidifying your expertise in SKU management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Select and negotiate prices for specialized and out stock merchandise
• Lead vendor negotiations and handle meetings
• Keep thorough records of all SKU information
• Manage the liquidation of discontinued products
• Review design team revisions and pricing accuracy
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• 0-2 years of relevant merchandising experience
• Solid skills in data analysis and resolution tactics
• Ability to mentor junior staff as needed
• Occasional travel required, under 10%
