Marie.This is a hands-on position that combines forklift operation, warehouse and yard labour, and customer service support. The right candidate should be comfortable performing physical labour and willing to learn additional tasks, including operating cutting equipment used to prepare lumber for customers.ResponsibilitiesOperate a forklift safely in the lumber yard and warehouseLoad, unload, move,



and organize lumber and other materialsAssist with general yard and warehouse labourPrepare customer orders and move materials as requiredAssist customers with lumber orders when neededLearn and operate cutting machines to cut lumber according to customer requirementsMaintain a clean and organized work areaFollow all workplace health and safety proceduresPerform other general labour duties as requiredRequirementsValid Forklift Operator Certification requiredPrevious forklift experience of atleast 1 year in a lumber yard, warehouse, or similar environment is requiredMust be willing to perform physical labour and lifting materialsMust be willing to learn how to operate cutting equipmentGood attention to detail and ability to follow instructionsReliable, punctual, and safety-consciousComfortable working both indoors and outdoorsMust be available to work the full 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM scheduleAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWhat We Offer$20.00 per hourMonday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PMImmediate startTemp to perm prospect in 2-3 months (after performance review)Hands-on training provided for additional equipment and cutting machine dutiesIf you are a certified forklift operator looking for a hands-on position with the opportunity to become permanent, we encourage you to apply.
