About the Role

Our client is searching for a seasoned and strategic Senior Compliance Manager to lead their compliance efforts. This is a crucial, fully remote position responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and ongoing management of the company's comprehensive compliance program. You will ensure adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies, manage regulatory relationships, and provide expert guidance across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of the financial services regulatory landscape and strong leadership capabilities, enabling them to foster a culture of integrity and compliance from anywhere. Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain a robust compliance program aligned with industry best practices and regulatory expectations. Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify and address potential compliance vulnerabilities. Oversee internal investigations into alleged compliance violations and recommend corrective actions. Liaise with regulatory bodies, manage examinations, and ensure timely responses to inquiries. Develop and deliver compliance training programs to employees at all levels.



Stay abreast of evolving regulatory requirements and advise senior management on potential impacts. Requirements

Master's degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, or legal roles within the financial services sector. Deep understanding of South African financial regulations (e.g., FAIS Act, FICA, POPIA) and international compliance standards. Proven leadership and team management experience. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and lead a remote team effectively. Benefits
