DASCH is seeking an innovative Facilitator dedicated to supporting adults with intellectual disabilities. In this full time role, you will lead participant-centered Learning Labs, helping individuals identify strengths and plan for their futures. By facilitating job shadows and workplace simulations, you'll provide essential skills and guidance to enhance independence in day-to-day life.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate participant-centred Learning Labs and workshops
• Help identify individual strengths and career goals
• Organize hands-on workplace tours and simulations
• Support Skill Development and Career Development Plans
• Foster confidence and self-advocacy among participants
Requirements:
• Experience with hands-on learning for adults
• Strong background in person-centred employment strategies
• Excellent communication and coaching skills
• Adaptability to individual learning needs
• Resourcefulness in overcoming challenges
