This temporary full time position requires a qualified individual dedicated to improving the lives of children and youth with complex behavioral needs, especially those on the Autism Spectrum. You'll collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, apply behavior analysis principles, and implement program plans. Your responsibilities will include conducting functional assessments, participating in planning sessions, and monitoring student progress.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct support to students with behavioral needs • Implement behavior management systems like BMS and CPI-NVCI • Conduct functional behavioral assessments and monitor student progress • Collaborate with school staff and behavioral analysts • Deliver training sessions for team development
Requirements: • Minimum two-year college diploma or related degree • Two years of experience working with special needs youth • Knowledge in applied behavior analysis techniques • Good communication and organizational skills • Reliable transportation for travel within the Board
