In this role, reporting directly to the Culinary Manager, the Assistant Cook will prepare and deliver meals for residents, guests, and employees. You will ensure proper food handling techniques and review menus before preparation. A focus on special and therapeutic diets is essential, along with participation in quality improvement programs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and serve meals for residents, guests, and employees
• Ensure attractive food presentation and menu adherence




• Conduct daily temperature audits for food safety
• Facilitate meal planning for special occasions
• Participate in departmental training and meetings
Requirements:
• Food Handler's Certificate is a must
• Experience in large quantity food prep preferred
• Knowledge of special diets and food regulations
• Ability to lift heavy items and stand for shifts
• Current Vulnerable Position/Sector Screening
