This full time position at Seven Oaks Long-Term Care aims to enhance healthcare delivery through rigorous standards and training.The City of Toronto's Seniors Services and Long-Term Care Division is seeking an experienced Infection Control Manager. You will lead a team in ensuring compliance with infection prevention standards, manage outbreaks, and foster a culture of safety. This role includes monitoring budgets and collaborating with various health specialists.Key Responsibilities:
Conduct monthly infection surveillance and reporting
Train staff on infection control protocols
Lead outbreak response initiatives
Administer annual vaccination programs
Collaborate with public health units for best practicesRequirements:
Degree in health-related discipline or relevant experience
Active registration with a regulatory body in Ontario
Certification in Infection Control considered advantageous
Proven experience in long-term care
