Heavy Duty Mechanic

Our client, a large Maritime based conglomerate has asked us to locate several Heavy-Duty mechanics to join their company with locations in Saint John, Moncton and Fredericton NB.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.
Diagnose faults and malfunctions and confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit.
Complete reports to record problems and work performed adjust, repair or replace parts and components of transport truck and truck-trailer systems.
Perform scheduled maintenance services.
Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications.
Ensure a protected work workplace in compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.





Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, and Experience:

.
Truck and Trailer Mechanic Red Seal Endorsement. Will consider individuals on their last block of their Apprenticeship.
Ability to operate required equipment in a protected and responsible manner in a team-focused environment.
Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and supervisors.
