POSITION SUMMARY
The Maintenance Assistant supports the daily operation, upkeep, and safety of Chief Kahkewistahaw Community School (CKCS). Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, this role assists with cleaning, minor repairs, groundskeeping, and seasonal duties to ensure a clean and secure learning workplace for students, staff, and visitors.

This hands-on role requires reliability, physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, supports team efforts, andmaintainsa respectful attitude toward all members of the school community.

QUALIFICATIONS

Grade12

Experience in maintenance, custodial work, or groundskeeping is an asset.

Valid Class 5 Drivers License preferred.

Vulnerable Sector Check and drug screening.

Willingness to attend training in safety, WHMIS, or equipment use as needed.
