As a Lead Hand, you will be pivotal in managing installations and guiding apprentices while ensuring projects meet the Canadian Electrical Code. Your expertise will enhance in office safety practices and documentation, making a direct impact on the success of the projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install electrical systems following blueprints and regulations
• Inspect equipment for safety and performance issues
• Lead and mentor apprentices and Journeypersons in daily work
• Oversee safety documentation and risk assessments
• Facilitate toolbox meetings and incident reporting
Requirements:
• Must hold a Journeyperson Electrician ticket (Red Seal)
• Proven experience in high-rise or commercial construction
• Comprehensive understanding of electrical codes
• Solid communication and computer skills
• Field Safety Representative ticket is advantageous
