About the Role

Our client, a leading media broadcaster in Kimberley , is seeking an experienced Senior Broadcast Engineer to oversee the technical operations of their state-of-the-art broadcasting facilities. You will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting a wide range of broadcast equipment, ensuring the seamless delivery of high-quality audio and video content. This role requires a deep understanding of broadcast technology, network infrastructure, and signal flow. Key Responsibilities

- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of broadcast equipment, including cameras, switchers, audio consoles, and transmission systems.

- Install and configure new broadcast systems and infrastructure.
- Provide technical support to production teams during live broadcasts and studio operations.

Requirements

- Minimum of 7 years of experience in broadcast engineering or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of RF, video, audio, and digital transmission systems.
- Experience with troubleshooting broadcast hardware and software issues.
- Proficiency with broadcast automation systems and video routing.
- Excellent understanding of IT networking principles as they apply to broadcast environments.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to work under pressure during live broadcasts.
