About the Role

Our client is seeking a qualified and nurturing Nanny with Experience in Toddler Development for their family in Kimberley. This role focuses on providing attentive daily care and implementing activities that support the unique developmental needs of toddlers. You will be responsible for managing daily routines, ensuring safety, and fostering a stimulating environment that encourages exploration and learning. The ideal candidate is patient, knowledgeable about toddler milestones, and committed to providing a loving and supportive atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide attentive and loving care for toddlers, managing feeding, nap, and hygiene routines.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that stimulate cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development.
- Ensure a secure, clean, and child-friendly environment at all times.
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to toddlers' dietary needs.
- Engage toddlers in play, reading, and exploration to foster their learning.




- Communicate effectively with parents about the toddler's progress, behavior, and daily experiences.

Requirements

- Previous qualified experience as a nanny or in a childcare setting, with a focus on toddlers.
- Demonstrated knowledge of toddler development milestones and appropriate care practices.
- Ability to create a safe and stimulating environment for young children.
- Patience, creativity, and a gentle, nurturing approach.
- Good communication skills and ability to build rapport with both children and parents.
- Valid First Aid certification is required.
