This position requires at least one year of experience in a child care or recreational setting. Communication and teamwork skills are essential alongside a solid understanding of child development and recreational programming. Your role is crucial in building a supportive atmosphere for families and students.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and organize recreational activities for children
• Facilitate homework assistance and guidance
• Encourage positive behavioral interactions among children
• Work in partnership with fellow staff members
• Maintain a safe, welcoming workplace for participants
Requirements:
• Minimum one year experience with children
• Knowledge of child development and recreation
• Strong skills in communication and teamwork
• High School Completion Certificate or equivalent
• First Aid/CPR Certification preferred
