The YMCA of Pictou County seeks an individual who can thrive in an inclusive and caring setting. As a part-time educator available Monday to Friday, you will focus on meeting the physical, emotional, and social needs of children. Experience with kids and educational settings is beneficial, and you will maintain ongoing communication with parents and guardians while ensuring children's safety in all activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise children engaged in safe, appropriate activities
• Communicate openly with parents regarding children's progress




• Address the emotional and intellectual needs of children
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
• Collaborate with staff to promote YMCA values
Requirements:
• Experience working with children in an educational setting
• Availability Monday to Friday for part-time hours
• CPR and First Aid Certification (training can be obtained)
• Criminal Reference and Child Abuse Registry Checks
• High Five training is an asset
