Inspire elementary students at Oxford Learning Stoney Creek as a part-time Elementary Teacher/Tutor. Utilize pre-planned lessons to guide students in language and social studies every evening and Saturday morning.
Oxford Learning is seeking enthusiastic teacher-tutors to work with up to three students at a time in a classroom setting. This engaging in-person role doesn’t require lesson planning, as comprehensive lesson structures are provided. A commitment until the end of the academic term in June, and ideally extending into summer, is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach groups of up to three students effectively
• Implement Oxford Learning’s teaching methodologies
• Maintain professional communication with students and parents




• Complete post-lesson notes and daily updates
• Foster self-confidence and learning skills in students
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or relevant certification preferred
• Experience teaching or tutoring grades K-8
• Solid English communication skills
• Ability to multitask with various student levels
• Willingness to undergo vulnerable sector screening
