Provide essential psychotherapeutic support for children and youth facing mental health challenges. Leverage crisis intervention skills, community resource coordination, and short-term stabilization techniques in a mobile role across multiple sites.As a Child and Youth Outreach Counsellor, you'll deliver urgent clinical responses using your expertise in risk assessment and psychological needs. With a focus on high-risk clients, your strategies will target complex emotional and behavioral issues. Collaboration with community resources is key, aiding youth in distress while ensuring their safety and well-being.Key Responsibilities:
Provide triage and urgent clinical responses
Assess psychosocial needs of high-risk youth
Coordinate with community services for support
Deliver short-term stabilization services
Travel between multiple service sites as requiredRequirements:
Baccalaureate Degree in a health-related discipline
2 years of crisis intervention experience
Eligible for qualified registration
Valid BC Drivers' License
