Become an Afterschool Program Instructor with the Town of Wolfville and cultivate creativity in children's recreation on select weekdays. Programs take place Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
Applicants will deliver quality recreation activities from 2:00pm to 5:00pm, helping children explore and develop their interests. Successful candidates should possess robust leadership and interpersonal skills, complemented by experience in recreational programming or similar fields. Together, we will create a positive and supportive atmosphere for all participants.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate afterschool recreational programs for children
• Implement creative programming in group settings
• Supervise, guide, and support participants




• Engage with parents regarding program success
• Uphold safety and inclusivity standards
Requirements:
• Ability to lead and engage children effectively
• Prior experience in recreation program delivery preferred
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to secure necessary background checks
• Flexible availability for a variety of hours per week
