Job summary: On the ColdLine, you give Guests the first taste of an essential Freddy’s ingredient – Hospitality. Through outstanding Hospitality, you see to it that every Guest’s visit is a great one. As a member of the cheerful and energetic ColdLine team, you welcome guests, place their orders, keep the dining area tidy, and prepare the delicious frozen custard treats.

ColdLine Team Members work together as a team in greeting the Guests, taking orders, and preparing custard items, while attending to the dining room and ensuring the Freddy’s standards of Hospitality, Quality, and Cleanliness.

Coldline Team Member Positions

- Register / Front Counter
- Drive‑Through
- Custard Station

Key Responsibilities:

- Opening ColdLine:
- Thoroughly and expediently set-up ColdLine for operation.
- Properly assemble and power on equipment.
- Prepare/stock/label all product to spec.
- Prepare the dining room for Guests.
- Welcome Guests with enthusiasm and correctly take their orders.
- Efficiently facilitate Drive-thru business.
- Build all custard items and expedite.
- Check on Guests, seek feedback, and maintain cleanliness of the dining room.
- Follow proper washing,



sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Knowledgeable of all ingredients and storage procedures.
- Understands Sense of Urgency and Time Standards.
- Closing ColdLine:
- Thoroughly breakdown ColdLine, proper closing procedures.
- Disassemble and clean equipment, dishes, utensils, and ColdLine stations.
- Proper storage of product.

Hospitality

- Take the initiative to make sure the Guest is happy.
- Work together as a team and have fun. A happy team makes for happy Guests.
- Treat Guests with the highest level of respect.
- Communicate with Guests in an energetic, friendly, and cheerful manner.

Qualifications:

- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work in a rapid‑paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork
- Evening and weekend availability is an asset
- No experience required — we train all positions
