This Cook role is essential in Sienna's mission to provide excellent care and support for seniors. You will prepare meals based on specific dietary requirements, monitor food quality, and assist in training new kitchen staff. Key Responsibilities:
• Set up cooking equipment and supplies
• Prepare and serve meals as per menu requirements
• Ensure food quality and handle any issues
• Conduct departmental duties in team leader's absence
• Support onboarding new cooking team members
Requirements:
• Completed Grade 12 or equivalent education
• Protected Food Handling Certificate and/or Smart Serve
• Previous cooking experience in hospitality or healthcare
• Maintain a positive attitude in the kitchen
• Meet Vulnerable Sector Check requirements where applicable
